Annual Golf Tournament
The 2010 FSP Forum charity golf outing for the benefit of the Foundation for Financial Service Professionals will be held on October 10, 2010 , at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club in Orlando. This annual event provides an excellent opportunity to have a good time playing good golf for a good cause. The cost to register is $225and includes greens fees, cart rental, box lunch and a complimentary shirt. Tee time is 12:30 pm . TaylorMade clubs are available for rental from the pro shop.
The Waldolf Astoria Golf Club was named one of the best new courses to play in 2009 by Golf.com. This Rees Jones designed course winds through a large wetland preserve and measuring 7108 yards with a Par 72, Slope 139, and 74.6 rating from its Professional Tees. Holes are visually arresting from tee to green and require intelligent management of the game. Bunkers are carved to be reminiscent of the hazards designed on courses a century ago. Society of FSP Chapters and other interested parties are invited to support the Foundation for Financial Service Professionals by purchasing a tee sign for display at the Annual Foundation Golf Tournament. The contribution is just $250 and you have the pleasure of seeing your name on the lush greens of a beautiful golf course.
Your $250 contribution will help the Foundation fund Financial Education Partners™, a dynamic community outreach effort designed to provide pro bono financial guidance to individuals in need. Financial Education Partners™ teams members of the Society of FSP with individuals referred by charitable organizations, such as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and Habitat for Humanity .
