CPE CE Credit Approvals
The recommended number of CPE credit hours is: 1 The Society of Financial Service Professionals is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. The Society offers programs at intermediate to advanced levels of continuing professional education. Although no pre-requisite course or advanced preparation is needed to participate in any program, knowledge of, or experience in, the program topic is required. The Society's Refund Policy states that a refund may be given in most circumstances, less a $50 service fee. The following State Boards of Accountancy will accept CPE credit from National Registry Sponsors:

Featured Speaker:Ross Jordan, CPCU, is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Mr. Jordan's insurance career started with Lincoln National Life and Princeton Insurance Company. He later joined Aon's Affinity Insurance Services as a senior underwriter on the National Association of Life Underwriter Professional Liability Program. During his 12 years at Affinity, he was responsible for the administration of insurance agents and broker dealer sponsored programs, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Professional Liability Program (NAIFA) and Affinity's insurance agents programs. Mr. Jordan joined CalSurance in September 2008 as an account executive and producer. He continues to specialize in errors and omission insurance for life, health, property and casualty agents as well as many types of financial professionals and their firms. Ross received his CPCU designation in 1998 from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. |
