"FSP webinars have tremendous value for financial professionals. There is a wide array of interesting topics to choose from, and the ability to assemble a group of individuals lets you extend and amplify the value of the program. When supporting material is provided, such as articles, web sites, etc., attendees can continue the dialogue when the program ends."

Lunch/Brunch Conversations

About Lunch/Brunch Conversations

Lunch/Brunch Conversations are free (normal phone charges apply) Members Only events.

A Lunch/Brunch Conversation is an open discussion among participants and a main speaker; it is not a formal presentation. FSP members who would like to participate in the event register to either "Talk & Listen" or to "Listen Only."

If you register to "talk and listen"… you can voice an opinion about the topic in discussion, ask a question, offer an observation, or just listen. Your active participation in the call is a way to tailor the event to your needs, and we encourage you to join in freely.

If you register to "listen only"…you will not be able to enter the conversation but only listen to what others are saying.

Lunch/Brunch Conversations are scheduled whenever issues arise that impact practitioners and their clients. Each one lasts approximately 45 minutes, from (typically) 1:00-1:45 pm Eastern Time and focuses on a specific Professional Interest Section.

When you register, you will receive an email with the phone number to call and an access code that allows you to participate in the event.

Young Professionals Open Forum

FSP Members only - Register Online

Wednesday, 8/21/14 - 1:00 p.m. ET

This Open Forum is for our young professionals with 15 years or less in financial services. Its purpose is to schedule up to two breakout sessions at the 2015 Clinic for Advanced Professionals based on input from you. The forum moderator will be Marshall Lipson, CLU, Managing Director, FSP Professional Development Department.

We are looking for input in these areas:

  • Topics you would find interesting or helpful in your practice
  • Speakers you would like to hear and the topic you'd like to hear them speak about
  • What type of format you would prefer (e.g., formal lecture, round-table discussion, moderator with audience participation, etc.)

Also, what single topic and speaker would most likely be the deciding factor in your decision to attend the Clinic, especially if it were within 50 miles of where you live.
