Program Overview
Much of the "debate" about annuities is polemic—between those who love annuities and those who hate them. Regrettably, much of the rhetoric is based in misunderstanding, if not outright myth. In this program, John Olsen, CLU, ChFC, AEP, sorts out the "trues and falses" of annuities, explains common misconceptions about them, and shows you why they are still important financial planning tools.
Invite your colleagues and associates to benefit from this audio conference at no additional charge when you register for the program.
By the end of the program you will know:
Why generalizations that begin with "annuities are…" are useless
Why both critics and fans of annuities often get it wrong, as in:
- "The investment expenses in variable annuities are too high"
- "Annuitization is a bad investment decision"
- "Tax deferred growth is always better than currently taxable growth"
- "You should never fund your IRA with an annuity"
